Quick Start Guide

This guide will help you quickly get started with creating challenges, games, and events using Pursuit Pt

1. Creating a Challenge

  1. Navigate to Challenges:

    • Start from the home screen by clicking the Pursuit Path logo at the top left.
    • Click on the 'Challenges' menu item on the vertical menu on the left.
  2. Add a New Challenge:

    • At the top right, click on 'Add New Challenge'.
    • The 'Add New Challenge' screen will appear.
  3. Fill in Challenge Details:

    • Challenge Name: Enter the name of the challenge.
    • Description: Provide a detailed description of the challenge.
    • Duration: Set the start and end dates for the challenge.
    • Other Settings: Configure any additional settings as required.
  4. Save and Publish:

    • Review the details and click 'Save' to create the challenge. Publish it when ready.

2. Creating a Game

  1. Navigate to Games:

    • From the home screen, click the Pursuit Path logo.
    • Click on the 'Games' menu item on the vertical menu on the left.
  2. Add a New Game:

    • At the top right, click on 'Add New Game'.
    • The 'Add New Game' screen will appear.
  3. Enter Game Information:

    • Title: Enter the game title for administrative purposes.
    • Game Name: Provide a name that participants will see.
    • Description: Add a detailed description of the game.
    • Game Type: Select the type of game (e.g., quiz, scavenger hunt).
    • Other Settings: Configure game settings such as time limits, number of attempts, etc.
  4. Save and Launch:

    • After filling in all required fields, click 'Save' to create the game. Launch it when ready.

3. Creating an Event

  1. Navigate to Events:

    • Start from the home screen by clicking the Pursuit Path logo.
    • Click on the 'Events' menu item on the vertical menu on the left.
  2. Add a New Event:

    • At the top right, click on 'Add New Event'.
    • The 'Add New Event' screen will appear.
  3. Design Your Event:

    • Event Name: Enter the name of the event.
    • Description: Provide a detailed description of the event.
    • Event Design: Choose the design layout for your event.
    • Date and Time: Set the start and end dates and times.
  4. Finalize and Launch:

    • Review the event details and click 'Save' to create the event. Publish it when all preparations are complete.

Tips for Success

  • Review and Test: Before publishing any challenge, game, or event, review all details and settings. Conduct a test run if possible.
  • Engage Participants: Clearly communicate the details and objectives to participants to ensure maximum engagement.
  • Monitor Progress: Use the Pursuit Path dashboard to monitor participation and progress, and make adjustments as needed.
