Create a Game

Create a Game

Start from home by clicking the Pursuit Path Logo on the top left.

Then, click on the 'Games' menu item on the vertical menu on the left.

At the top right click on 'Add New Game'


The 'Add New Game' screen will appear



Title (for admin)

The name for the game that is shown in the admin panel. 
For Example "Treasure Hunt @ Office"

Title (in game)

If your game has a title, put it here.  For example, 'Office Day Treasure Hunt'.
You can make the 'Title (in game)' text bold so it stands out more.

Game Time Limit

Put in the duration of your game time, in "Minutes" and "Seconds"

Game Summary

If your game has a summary, enter the game summary here

Game Challenges

You can choose the challenges that you want to add into your game from the list provided, by clicking on the checkbox on the left


If you want to create your challenges to be added into this game, refer to "Create a Challenge"

Your added challenges will appear on the next box, if you had selected any of the challenges.

You can edit the challenges here by clicking on the "Pencil" Icon
You can delete the challenges here by clicking on the "Bin" Icon



Answer Settings

Initial Game Points

You can provide a initial starting game points for your game. If you have entered "100", the game will start with 100 points.

Correct Answer Points Increment

You can set a correct answer points increment within the game, on top of the correct answer points increment within each challenge.

Wrong Answer Points Deduction

You can set a wrong answer points deduction within the game, on top of the wrong answer points deduction within each challenge.

Total Points Text

You can show the total amount of points within the game, with this option as a description.


More Settings

Show Individual Score

This allows players to see their individual challenge score. If this is switched off, players will not be able to see any individual challenge score.

Total Score Visibility

This allows players to the total score of the game. If this is switched off, players will not be able to see the total score.

Game Template (Optional)

If you have specialised information that you would like to show it to players on their game screen, you can add them into this section.

Browser Tab Title

The title that is added here will be display on the game screen.
Add in an interesting title here will engage your players better.

Answer Screens

Correct Answer Heading

Display the Title in the correct answer page.
You can upload an image as the answer page background (800px by 600px)

Wrong Answer Heading

Display the Title in the wrong answer page.
You can upload an image as the answer page background (800px by 600px)

Timeout Answer Heading

Display the Title in the timeout page.
You can upload an image as the answer page background (800px by 600px)

Primary and Secondary Colour For Your Game

You can choose your own primary colour and secondary colour for your game display. 
Having your own chosen colours will provide an identity for your game.
