What is a team passcode? Do my participants need them?

What is the difference between a password and a team passcode?

A password is a password that allows a user to log in onto the admin panel and change the details of the challenges, games and events. While a passcode is like a password for joining a specific team within the event

A passcode ensures that participants are only able to join the pre-made event (whether this was created by the account manager or an account event leader) they are supposed to be a part of.

As an account manager or account event leader, the passcode is required for teams to join into the event. You will need to send the participants their team passcode for them to join the event.

As a participant, you can share the event link and team passcode with your other teams on your team, in order for them to see the event in action.

How does this work for my teammates?

You will have to share your event link and team passcode with your teammates for them to enter the team.

Your teammates will have input the passcode, and their name to enter the game.

If the game has already started, your teammates will be at the page where the game is.
